• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that support academic growth and kindergarten readiness.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters positive social and emotional development.
• Integrate Catholic values, teachings, and traditions into daily instruction and classroom activities.
• Assess student learning through formal and informal methods and maintain accurate student records.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, developmental, and learning needs of students.
• Establish clear classroom expectations and implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and concerns.
• Collaborate with administrators, faculty, support staff, and families to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, school events, and other assigned activities.
• Monitor and promote student health, safety, and well-being throughout the school day.
• Utilize educational technology and instructional resources to enhance student engagement and learning.
• Support the school's mission and contribute positively to the Catholic faith community.

Job Description

The Kindergarten Teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards and the mission of Catholic education. The teacher creates a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning while supporting the individual needs of each student.
