Join to apply for the Kindergarten Teacher role at St. Michael's Catholic Preparatory School

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, collaborative, and creative Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a love for children at all developmental stages, excellent communication skills, and a passion for social-emotional and academic development. This full-time, 10-month position begins in August 2025.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative and engaging teaching practices across subjects including language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science.
• Set and achieve learning goals within a child-centered curriculum.
• Use authentic, data-driven assessments to guide instruction.
• Differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs.
• Apply the latest educational theories and child development practices.
• Possess strong knowledge of the Science of Reading and structured literacy approaches.
• Utilize the classroom environment as a teaching tool and integrate technology meaningfully.
• Focus on social, emotional, and character development, potentially using Responsive Classroom strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
