Other Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports.
• Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress.
• Identifying student needs and collaborating with Subject Experts or other professional staff to assess and help students with health, attitude, and learning issues.
• Providing differentiated instruction and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed.
• Supervising students during classroom transitions throughout the day.
• Occasionally representing BASIS Ed Texas at community events outside of school hours.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.

Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience as an elementary educator. Master’s degree in Education or related field.
