Job summary

St. Michael-Albertville School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Kindergarten at Albertville Primary. The role supports students with disabilities under the IEP, in small groups or one-on-one, under supervision of teachers and bus staff.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:20 AM to 2:05 PM (183 days), 0.8125 FTE, with a starting wage of $21.15–$21.63 per hour, plus standard district benefits. Apply online through the district's portal.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and two years of post-secondary education.
• Ability to work with staff and an educational team to provide services to students with disabilities.
• Previous experience with students or adults with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities in meeting academic, behavioral and physical goals as identified in the IEP in individual or small-group settings.
• Support instructional activities under supervision of the special education teacher or bus service personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA.
