Job summary

Fieldstone Elementary in Saint Michael, Minnesota seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities under the IEP. Work is in an 32.5 hour/week, 183-day schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:20 AM–2:20 PM with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post-secondary education or equivalent assessment.
• Ability to work with staff and an educational team to provide services to students with disabilities.
• Previous experience with students or adults with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with disabilities to meet academic, behavioral and physical needs under the direction of the special education teacher or bus service personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information under FERPA.
• Provide services in individual or small group settings as described in IEP goals.
