Job summary

Dracut Public Schools is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support kindergarten students at Englesby Elementary School. The role runs 16.25 hours weekly, from 11:40 am to 3:00 pm, and participates in the school's Community of Caring and RULER SEL initiatives.

Experience with children in a school setting is preferred. Responsibilities may include supervision, personal care, and support tasks as directed by teachers and administrators. Salary ranges from $18 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is required; degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Support kindergarten students as part of the school’s Community of Caring and RULER SEL program.
• May include direct supervision and support of one or more students throughout the school day.
• Provide personal care support, self-care support, toileting and/or diapering as directed by teachers and staff.
• Assigned by a Principal or special education staff as needed.
