Job summary

Granby Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional PreK-6 to support teachers in a well-organized classroom and help students access the instructional program. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $18 to $22 per hour and starting date around August 24, 2026.

Candidates must meet MA Endorsed Assessments or equivalent education requirements. The paraprofessional will work under supervision of certified staff and the Building Principal, assisting with accommodations, self-care and

Qualifications

• Certification of one MA-Endorsed Assessment: ParaPro or WorkKeys, or an Associates Degree or 48 college credits
• MA DESE background check (CORI) and fingerprints as required

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing educational accommodations and instruction per IEP/504 plan
• Supports Pre-K to 6 students with self-care and independent skills as appropriate
• To assist with small groups and reinforce concepts initially taught by teachers
• Maintains records and confidentiality, and supports the teacher in adapting materials
• Acts as a resource to the special education evaluation team while adhering to policy
• Maintains professional competence through in-service activities and district policies
