Job summary

Greenmont Avenue Elementary School in Dracut, MA is seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support students as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors and service providers to ensure student success.

Responsibilities may include direct supervision of students, personal care and other duties as directed by teachers and principals, with a starting hourly rate of $18–$24. This is a full-time position based in Dracut, MA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required; degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students under supervision of teachers and specialists.
• Direct supervision and support of one or more students throughout the school day.
• Provide personal care support, self-care support, toileting and/or diapering as directed.
