Oxford Area School District-Pto, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Instructional Aide for Jordan Bank School. This part-time role (approximately 5.5 hours on student days) supports the classroom teacher and helps create a positive, engaging learning environment for young children.

The ideal candidate has a passion for early childhood education, strong communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, and diverse learners throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessionals in Title I setting must have a diploma or equivalent and meet one of the educational options.
• Previous experience with young children is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff.
• Must pass background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with daily lesson plans and activities.
• Support individuals and small groups in learning.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment.
• Supervise students during playtime, lunch, and transitions.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of instructional materials.
• Encourage positive social interactions and collaborative learning.
• Communicate progress and needs to teachers and parents.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.
