The Kindergarten Instructional Assistant will provide support to teachers in a classroom setting, including grading assignments and one-on-one student support. The position requires a minimum high school diploma and 90-hour childcare certification; practicing Catholic preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma and 90-hour childcare certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Prepare and organize age-appropriate materials and resources for students.
• Assist students with technology or other audio equipment.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management.
• Ensures that arrival and dismissal procedures are conducted in a safe and orderly manner.
