Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or current enrollment in a GED program.
• Meet paraprofessional requirements for Alaska via 48 college credits, or passing ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (459+), or passing ACT WorkKeys, or ASD training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare class materials as directed by the teacher.
• Set up class projects per teacher guidelines.
• Handle routine reports and attendance.
• Assist with supervising students during lunch and recess.
• Assist with reading, displays, and disciplined student supervision.
• Maintain student and teacher files.
