Applitrack is seeking a Kindergarten Aide (Dual Language Program) in the Sunnyside Elementary area. This limited full-time role supports the teacher with classroom preparation, small-group instruction, and assisting individual students needing extra attention, under teacher supervision.
The position requires 48 college credits or ParaPro Praxis 457, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with staff, students, and the public.
Kindergarten Aide (Dual Language Program) Limited Full-time
Reports to: Building Administrator
To support the delivery of School District 91's written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement.
To assist the teacher in providing a well organized, smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.
This is a limited full-time position scheduled for 28.75 hours per week during the school year. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 5 - $16.39 or $17.19 (with a bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience) per hour.
This is a "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time or for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The "employment at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and expressly approved by the Board of Trustees of District 91.
Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Building Administrator in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
This position has been given an overall physical classification of light duty.
