Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months manufacturing/work experience.
• Forklift certification required by department.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills; attention to detail; good verbal and written communication.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and document kiln/furnace operations per work instructions.
• Take readings and maintain firing within specifications.
• Monitor push timing and adjust using computer software.
• Restart kilns/furnaces after outages or surges as required.
• Load/unload kilns and furnaces; move heavy kiln cars as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on kilns/furnaces.
