Job summary

Confidential in New York City is seeking an Account Executive (Kids) to grow our wholesale presence across specialty and boutique accounts for multiple brands. This role focuses on building relationships, presenting lines, and driving revenue in a fast-moving market.

You will manage outside reps, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to category initiatives while supporting the sales team and coordinating with planning and logistics to fulfill orders on time.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in apparel wholesale sales, kids dresswear or related field preferred.
• Experience in showrooms and at trade shows is highly valued.
• Strong Excel skills and basic retail math concepts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel for markets and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow a portfolio of specialty and boutique wholesale accounts across brands toward revenue targets.
• Manage outside sales reps in key territories; communicate priorities and track performance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in kids tailoring, dresswear, outerwear, and sportswear.
• Build relationships with buyers at current and prospective accounts.
• Present seasonal lines and assortments; execute account strategies with internal teams.
• Attend and manage trade shows, including booth setup and follow-up.
• Organize showroom and samples for internal and external teams.
• Gather key account information and liaise with logistics to ensure timely orders.
• Provide sales support: line sheets, samples, order entry follow-up, and presentations.
• Track weekly sales and surface trends; assist with forecasts and inventory planning.
