Under general supervision, you will ensure safety, manage attendance and records, help with budgeting, and coordinate with the school nurse on medication. Strong communication with parents and school staff is essential.

Qualifikationen

• CDA credential and 18 months experience or equivalent
• DHS qualification for licensing director
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
• Obtain AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)

Aufgaben

• Supervises Instructional Assistants and Support Instructors and assists in evaluation processes.
• Develops developmentally appropriate materials that stimulate learning, exploration and creativity.
• Plans children’s daily activities.
• Monitors safety and transitions for the program.
• Maintains attendance records.
• Develops annual budget and procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Maintains program files and confidential information.
• Coordinates medication with the school nurse/health technician.
• Ensures compliance with DHS and DES regulations.
• Fosters positive behavior, parent-school relationships, and staff collaboration.
• Attends professional development and staff meetings.
• Creates breaks and summer camp planning, and performs related duties.
