Job summary

The role collaborates with the Site Coordinator, instructional assistants, and disability services staff; requires alignment with district procedures, documentation, and ongoing training. Salary ranges from $16.65 to $19.98 per hour; 200-day calendar; full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a similar field.
• Three credit hours or 30 training hours in child development or related field.
• Fingerprint clearance card required.
• TB testing clearance prior to hire.
• Arizona Driver’s License required.
• First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Arizona Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing KidSpace standards and district procedures; maintain documentation.
• Maintain positive communication with parents to encourage participation.
• Assist in creating lesson plans and securing supplies.
• Observe students and participate in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Collaborate with disabilities service staff to support students with disabilities.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure safe environment.
• Assist in developing special care plans for students.
