The position requires collaborating with the KidSpace Coordinator, supporting students with diverse needs, and ensuring readiness with the necessary documentation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent prior to hire.
• One year of experience in a similar field.
• TB testing clearance prior to hire.
• Arizona Driver’s License required.
• First Aid Certification within the first 30 days of hire.
• CPR Certification within the first 30 days of hire.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Arizona Food Handlers Card within the first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Coordinator in implementing KidSpace standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance with performance standards.
• Communicate with parents to encourage participation in the program.
• Create lesson plans and secure supplies for activities.
• Observe students and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities.
• Work with disability support staff to meet developmental goals for children with disabilities.
• Assist in maintaining behavior standards and developing care plans.
