Job summary

The Washington Elementary School District seeks a KidSpace Site Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ to lead the district's KidSpace program, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children in a developmentally appropriate setting.

You will monitor attendance, plan activities, manage budgets and inventory, and collaborate with school staff while communicating with parents to nurture a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Requires CDA credential and 18 months of experience or equivalent.
• DHS qualification for licensing director may be required.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Obtain AZ IVP FPCC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of instructional staff and resolve conflicts.
• Develop and use developmentally appropriate learning materials.
• Plan daily activities for children.
• Monitor safety and transitions within the program.
• Maintain accurate attendance records.
• Develop annual budget and procure equipment.
• Maintain confidential student records.
• Coordinate medication with nurse/health tech and health regulations.
• Ensure center compliance with DHS/DES regulations.
• Foster positive parent-school relationships and communicate incidents.
• Collaborate with principals, office staff and cafeteria staff.
