Job summary

Waconia Public Schools is seeking a Kidspace Site Lead to coordinate after-school programming at a district building in Waconia. You will supervise daily activities and help ensure a safe, engaging environment for students from local communities.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 5:45pm, with a compensation range of $17.89–$22.18 per hour. A High School diploma or GED is required, and prior experience with children is preferred.

Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schoolsserves approximately4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Educational Supervisor, the KidspaceSite Lead is responsible for coordinating the scheduling and daily activities of the Kidspaceprogram at a school building site in addition to performing all duties required of KidspaceLeads in the department’s before and after school programs and summer programs.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 5:45pm

Qualifications

: A High School diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 1-year experience working with children is preferred. The successful candidate will be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of children. The successful candidate will be detail oriented and enjoy being part of a team.

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate from$17.89- $22.18, dependent upon qualifications
