Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Y Kids Zone Rep to supervise and lead activities for children aged 6 weeks through 11 years, fostering safe play and learning in a faith-based environment.

You will maintain health and safety standards, provide friendly customer service to members and families, document attendance, and support the team through trainings and meetings. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, with CPR certification pursued within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience with children preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents
• Willingness to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Lead educational, age-appropriate activities for children 6 weeks–11 years
• Maintain health, safety and cleanliness standards
• Provide superior customer service to members and their children
• Maintain attendance records
• Communicate with staff in a positive manner
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Assist with other duties as assigned
