Job summary

YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking a Team Leader for the Kids Zone to supervise staff and children, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. You will interact with parents to build trust and support strong program participation.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience with children, 1 year of supervision, and current or obtainable CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience working with children is required.
• Minimum of 18 years old and at least 1 year of supervision experience is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Knowledge of child development is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality about children, families, and staff.
• Current CPR/AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention certifications or ability to obtain within 60–90 days.
