Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor to guide kids through mindful movement in school-based programs. You will supervise sessions, lead age-appropriate yoga, and maintain a calming, safe environment across multiple sites in California.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years with children, yoga/group fitness experience, CPR/First Aid, and clear communication with students and families. Bachelor’s degree and instructor certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children.
• Yoga teaching or group fitness instructor experience (1–5 years).
• Certified Yoga Instructor preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Yoga Instructor supervises students and leads age-appropriate yoga instruction.
• Teach fundamental yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices.
• Group supervision with attention to behavior, safety, and development.
• Ensure student and team safety during activities.
• Organize daily plans in a fun, creative, engaging manner.
• Use effective classroom management to create an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow staff and role-model positive conduct.
• Follow the Code of Conduct and Impact Kids Core Values.
