Job summary

Impact Kids seeks a dedicated Yoga Instructor to lead age-appropriate sessions for children aged 4–18 across school sites in California. You will create calm, engaging classes, teach postures, breathing, and mindfulness, and model positive behavior for students and families.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with kids and 1–5 years of yoga teaching or group fitness. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and CPR/First Aid may be required by sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children.
• 1–5 years of yoga teaching or group fitness instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; yoga certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and lead age-appropriate yoga sessions.
• Teach fundamental yoga postures, breathing, and mindfulness.
• Group supervision with behavior, safety, and development focus.
• Ensure safety of students and staff.
• Prepare daily lesson plans in a fun, creative way.
• Use classroom management to create an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with other Activity Specialists and be a positive role model.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and Core Values.
• Have fun and engage with families and peers.
