Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor to lead mindfulness and movement sessions for children aged 4–18 across school sites in California.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with kids and 1–5 years in yoga instruction, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree and/or a certified yoga instructor credential. You will collaborate with staff to create engaging daily plans and uphold safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• Yoga teaching or group fitness instruction experience (1–5 years) required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Certified Yoga Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and lead age-appropriate yoga instruction.
• Provide a safe, calming environment and be a positive role model.
• Create and implement daily yoga sessions for ages 4–18 with varying abilities.
• Teach yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to promote well-being.
• Collaborate with other staff to coordinate daily responsibilities and maintain conduct.
• Follow the organization's Code of Conduct and core values.
