Job summary

Impact Kids in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor for kids to lead age-appropriate sessions and create a calm, engaging learning environment. You will teach fundamental yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness to children ages 4–18, while ensuring safety, inclusion, and supportive communication with families.

Requirements include 2+ years with children, yoga instruction experience (1–5 years), background checks, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience working with children; yoga teaching 1–5 years.
• Background checks (Live Scan) and CPR/First Aid certification required after conditional offer.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certification in Yoga Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate yoga instruction for students ages 4–18.
• Teach fundamental yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness.
• Supervise groups with attention to behavior, health, safety and development.
• Ensure safety of students and team members at all times.
• Organize and prepare daily yoga plans in a fun, creative way.
• Use effective classroom management to lead activity and foster inclusion.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists on daily responsibilities.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values at all times.
• Have fun and model positive engagement.
