Job summary

Geneva Lakes Family YMCA is seeking a part-time Tumbling Instructor to lead classes for children aged 2–14. Classes run Thursdays from 5 to 7 PM. The instructor will plan, prepare, and teach tumbling sessions, set up equipment, and ensure a safe environment at all times.

The role requires strong communication with parents and children, and adherence to YMCA safety policies. A free YMCA family membership is offered to the employee household if hired.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Experience working with youth aged 2–14.
• Experience teaching gymnastics or dance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach tumbling to groups of children aged 2–14.
• Plan, prepare and lead weekly classes.
• Set up equipment and mats for programs.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow emergency procedures.
