Endeavor Health is hiring a Child Swim Instructor for private and group lessons at Seven Bridges Fitness Center in Woodridge. The role requires teaching children, ensuring safety, and providing excellent customer service in a dynamic aquatic program.

Hours are scheduled after 4pm, with per diem opportunities and involvement in program development, marketing, and event execution. CPR certification is required within 90 days and high school education is the minimum.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum two years of high school.
• Certification: CPR issued by American Heart Association within 90 days.
• Ability to read, exchange information with customers and others, and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge to provide care appropriate to the age of participants.
• Designs and implements exercises to ensure a safe workout for children.
• Teaches age-appropriate skills for children’s levels and abilities.
• Sets up and cleans up the class area and resources.
• Assists in development, planning, and promotion of classes and events.
• Maintains safety by enforcing pool rules and supervision.
