Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking an energetic Swim Instructor to work onsite in Royal Oak, MI. The role offers a starting pay of $15.50+ per hour and the chance to teach children in a fun, safe setting.

No prior teaching experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, leading group and individual lessons, and supporting student progression while maintaining a clean, safe teaching space.

Qualifications

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests.
• Must be able to work 4–6 hour shifts teaching 8–9 classes back to back.
• Availability to work one weekend shift 8:30am–3pm (Sat or Sun).
• Follow all Aqua-Tots procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop water safety and swimming abilities.
• Create and implement lesson plans, conduct group and individual lessons, and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents.
