Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a fun and energetic Swim Instructor to teach children in a safe, engaging environment. No prior teaching experience is required as comprehensive training and paid onboarding are provided.

You’ll lead 4–6 hour shifts, teach multiple classes, and enjoy a starting pay of $15.50+ per hour with weekly pay; part-time with opportunities for extra shifts and growth in a friendly, onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Provide a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and Aqua-Tots procedures.
• Attend monthly in-service training.
• Track student swim progression throughout the levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• 4-6 hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 classes back to back.
• Availability to work one weekend shift from 8:30am-3pm.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop water safety skills and enhance their swimming abilities.
• Create and implement lesson plans, conduct group and individual lessons, and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents.
• Ensure the safety of all participants in the pool area and maintain a clean teaching environment.
• No prior teaching experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is provided.
