Job summary

Soccer Shots seeks a part-time Youth Soccer Coach to deliver an engaging curriculum to children aged 2–10 in Lakewood and surrounding communities. You’ll coach 4–15 sessions weekly, maintain a safe environment, and represent the brand across daycare and school sites.

Ideal candidates are passionate about child development, safety-conscious, and reliable with transportation to multiple sites in Long Beach and Southeast LA. A clear background check is required.

Qualifications

• Love working with children and child development.
• Safety-conscious — safety of every child is a priority.
• Prior experience with children ages 2–5 and/or ECE units strongly recommended.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Ability to travel between program sites across Long Beach and Southeast LA.

We go beyond soccer, focusing on character development, confidence, and creating the best 30–45 minutes of a child's week.

We coach at daycares, preschools, elementary schools, community centers, and parks throughout Lakewood, Bellflower, and surrounding areas. This is a fun, active, and flexible part-time role where no two days look exactly the same.

What You'll Do:

• Coach 4–15 fun, engaging soccer sessions per week for children ages 2–10
• Deliver our expertly designed, age-appropriate curriculum — provided for you!
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Represent Soccer Shots as a trusted community presence in Lakewood and surrounding areas

Schedule & Commitment:

• Saturday mornings are required
• Weekday shifts available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM based on your availability
• Ideal availability: 2–4 weekdays plus Saturday mornings
• Same locations, same times each week — once your schedule is set, it stays consistent
• Minimum 1-year commitment required
