Job summary

Soccer Shots in Lakewood and Southeast LA is seeking part-time youth soccer coaches for ages 2–10. You will deliver our age-appropriate curriculum, run 4–15 sessions per week, and help children build confidence, safety, and teamwork through structured, fun activities.

Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between program sites. Saturday mornings are required with weekday shifts; 2–4 weekdays plus Saturday mornings is ideal.

Love working with kids? Join Soccer Shots — the nation's #1 youth soccer enrichment program — and make a meaningful impact on children ages 2–10 across Lakewood and surrounding communities. We go beyond soccer, focusing on character development, confidence, and creating the best 30–45 minutes of a child's week.

We coach at daycares, preschools, elementary schools, community centers, and parks throughout Lakewood, Bellflower, and surrounding areas. This is a fun, active, and flexible part-time role where no two days look exactly the same.

What You'll Do:

• Coach 4–15 fun, engaging soccer sessions per week for children ages 2–10
• Deliver our expertly designed, age-appropriate curriculum — provided for you!
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Represent Soccer Shots as a trusted community presence in Lakewood and surrounding areas

Schedule & Commitment:

• Saturday mornings are required
• Weekday shifts available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM based on your availability
• Ideal availability: 2–4 weekdays plus Saturday mornings
• Same locations, same times each week — once your schedule is set, it stays consistent
• Minimum 1-year commitment required

Who You Are:

• Passionate about working with children and child development

• Responsible and committed — you don't need constant oversight
• Prior experience working with children ages 2–5 and/or Early Childhood Education units strongly recommended

Requirements:

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience
