Job summary

School of Rock Wexford is seeking a passionate Instructor for Little Wing (ages 4-5) and Rookies (ages 6-7) classes. The role focuses on creating a supportive environment for young musicians, helping them reach developmental milestones through music.

Ideal candidates will have over 4 years of teaching experience, a passion for working with children, and proficiency in at least one musical instrument. Part-time work with weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience teaching and/or performing music professionally.
• Passion for and/or experience working with children under the age of seven (7).
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the quality of music instruction including private lessons and shows.
• Communicate regularly with parents on progress of students after lessons.
• Assist in rehearsals and basic maintenance in school.
