Job summary

Michaels in Clarksville, TN is seeking an Store Event Coordinator to plan and coordinate events within the store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage with guests of all ages to create a fun, creative environment and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, assisting customers, guiding activities such as face painting, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children and children's events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events within the store, including children's birthday parties and craft classes.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers shop, and assist with checkout.
• Demonstrate crafts and assist with party activities such as face painting.
• Coordinate event add-ons and communicate with clients and store team.
• Perform administrative tasks: emails, calls, paperwork.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store standards.
• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards; set up and break down events.
