KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals for children across our centers. You will follow menus designed by our nutritionist, ensure safe storage, and help with daily center duties to support a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must love children and make a difference every day.
• Understand food storage, allergies, and cross-contamination avoidance.
• Follow menus and prepare required quantities for the center population.
• Basic math for measuring and portioning.
• Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain.
• At least 1 year of institutional cooking; 2+ years with children desirable.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and operate a computer.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medications as requested.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation according to licensing requirements.
• Help with daily center duties as needed.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
