KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children in our centers. You will follow menus designed by our in-house nutritionist and ensure the fuel children need to learn and grow.

As part of a team, you’ll maintain a safe kitchen, manage supplies, and document compliance with licensing requirements while supporting center goals around enrollment and engagement. This role emphasizes safety, nutrition, and collaboration with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Familiarity with food storage, allergies, and cross-contamination avoidance.
• Follow nutritious menus and prepare foods for the center population.
• Basic math skills for measuring and portions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medication as requested.
• Complete documentation per KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Assist with daily center duties and enrollment/engagement goals.
• Support center success with staff collaboration.
