Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide best-in-class educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct and implement safe, fun activities and may host parties and events.

Responsibilities include greeting members, fostering development, preparing classes, maintaining records and ensuring safety. Certification in First Aid/CPR is required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED is acceptable.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests professionally and fosters a friendly environment.
• Instructs and organizes activities to support cognitive, social, and physical development.
• Prepares, sets up, and transfers children to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Ensures safety and a healthy environment and communicates with parents.
• Promotes Junior programming to boost participation in Kids & Aquatics.
• Keeps Kids Academy clean and restocks supplies after classes.
• Handles incidents calmly and professionally.

Education
