Job summary

Life Time Inc. is looking for a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging, educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to eleven years in the Kids Academy.

You will organize, instruct and supervise safe, fun activities and games, and may host parties and events. Responsibilities include greeting families, guiding development, preparing classes, tracking attendance and incidents, maintaining a clean learning space, using positive behavior techniques, and communicating with

Qualifications

• First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Learnings prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through organized activities.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitors safety and maintains a healthy environment around toys and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation across Kids & Aquatics.
• Maintains Kids Academy and other areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
