Job summary

The Little Gym of Murfreesboro is looking for a gymnastics‑experienced, energetic instructor to join our team. You’ll teach kids aged 3 to 12, demonstrating and teaching skills using our proven methods.

We’ll train you on our curriculum, and you’ll help create a warm, fun learning environment while keeping safety and fostering confidence. Expect a dynamic, active role with opportunities to assist in events and community activities, as you help families feel welcomed and supported in their

Qualifications

• Previous gymnastics experience as a gymnast, coach, instructor, or similar role.
• Love working with kids and enjoy watching them learn and grow.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable being silly, getting on the floor.
• Comfortable demonstrating gymnastics skills and physically assisting children.
• Understand that parents are important; communicate professionally and make families feel welcomed.
• Dependable, coachable, and willing to jump in wherever you're needed.
• Love having fun, but you also know when it's time to buckle down and get the job done.
• Voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.

Responsibilities

• Teach gymnastics based classes for children ages 3–12 using The Little Gym's curriculum and teaching methods.
• Safely demonstrate, spot, and teach age-appropriate skills.
• Create a warm, fun, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful.
• Give each child attention and encouragement to build confidence and learn new skills.
• Treat every class and every child as if it's their first day — EVERY WEEK!
• Provide an outstanding customer and membership experience; treat members like family.
• Keep the gym clean, organized, safe, and ready for the next class.
• Be an active part of the team by helping with events, camps, birthday parties, and other gym activities.
