Job summary

KidStrong Kenwood is hiring a Childrens Coach to engage with parents and kids, delivering brain, physical, and character development per the evolving curriculum. You will lead energetic classes and help kids build confidence across activities.

We offer part or full-time schedules, with hours typically weekdays and some evenings/weekends. Prior pediatric coaching and CPR certification are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Prior experience coaching students within the KidStrong age is preferred.
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who just gets the job done.

Responsibilities

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age range from roughly 12 months to 11 years.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by HQ.
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and maintain appropriate pace.
• Greet students and parents/guardians at the start of class.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrate and manage implementation of various exercises.
• Ensure cleanliness of the center and sanitize equipment after shifts.
• Record class data in KS Coach’s App and provide attendance/awards to parents.
• Communicate professionally with teammates via Slack.
