Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Castle Pines, CO is hiring a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, and gym games, while incorporating nutrition education and maintaining safety and fun for ages 3–13.

You will lead up to 10 children, model positive behavior, manage supplies, promote monthly events, and support the department's budget with careful use of snacks and materials. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands and arms; climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in interactive activities including arts and crafts, singing, sports, and games while maintaining a safe environment.
• Lead up to 10 children ages 3–13 with a positive and outgoing attitude as a role model.
• Demonstrate courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, and professionalism toward customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of activities to ensure safety.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.25 and pays up to $18.25, based on experience and qualifications.
