Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and gym games, while integrating nutrition education and prioritizing safety and fun for ages 3–13.

You will lead up to 10 children, model friendly behavior, maintain a positive environment, and help promote monthly events to boost participation. This hourly role requires 1 year of related experience, First Aid and CPR/AED within 60 days,

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• First Aid within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment.
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role-model.
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming to ensure safety.
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget.

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and pays up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
