Job summary

Sticky Fingers Cooking is hiring a part-time Kids Cooking Instructor for after-school programs in the Jacksonville area. You will lead hour-long, hands-on cooking classes for children aged 3-18, using our kid-tested recipes and provided kits.

The role includes planning lessons, shopping for ingredients, and engaging kids in healthy eating concepts. Qualifications include experience with children, ability to work 2 days a week 1-5 pm, and ServSafe certification (can be obtained before teaching).

Qualifications

• Experience working with children of varying ages is required.
• Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon-Fri, 1-5 pm).
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4-12 weeks).
• Ability to manage and engage 8-14 children with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long cooking classes on-site at various locations.
• Create creative recipes and teach ingredients and healthy foods.
• Review weekly lesson plans and shop for fresh ingredients.
