Code Ninjas Katy is seeking friendly, tech-savvy individuals to mentor students aged 7–14 in coding and game development. You’ll guide small groups through projects using Scratch, Roblox Studio, and Minecraft Education, creating a welcoming, hands-on learning environment.

This role is ideal for high school juniors/seniors or college students who enjoy teaching and tech, with weekday afternoons/evenings and some weekends available.

Qualifications

• Interest in coding, game development, or STEM.
• Enjoy working with children and helping them learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, organized, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Guide small groups of students through game-building and coding activities.
• Support camps and programs such as Minecraft, Roblox, YouTube content creation, and LEGO Robotics.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Adapt support based on each student’s pace and learning style.
• Communicate progress and highlights to parents when needed.
• Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and equipment organization.
