Job summary

Code Ninjas Studio City is seeking a part-time Code Sensei to guide students through self-paced coding curriculum and help them build a game to share with parents. You will be part of a team in a kid-friendly space, delivering lessons with enthusiasm and professionalism.

The ideal candidate loves coding, enjoys working with children aged 5-14, and can adapt to new programs or situations quickly. Flexible after-school and weekend hours offered, with a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching coding and STEM lessons.
• Love of working with kids ages 5–14 and video games.
• Willingness to adapt to new programs and situations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Explain student progress to parents.
• Welcome potential new students and help them build a game to show to their parents.
• Grade student assignments.
• Help develop curriculum for special events.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized classroom.
• Potentially work onsite at partner schools or organizations in Studio City, Sherman Oaks and surrounding neighborhoods.
