Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet Nebraska DHHS site director qualifications.
• CPR and first aid certifications required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3000 hours of verifiable childcare experience.
• Annual health examination form and felony statement required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of each child at all times.
• Interact with and supervise children, including behavior guidance.
• Meet state regulations and maintain staff/child ratios.
• Maintain complete children's records and post emergency plans.
• Prepare and submit written daily activity plans and menus.
• Manage attendance, payroll submissions, and reports to OPSF.
• Supervise site staff and train the assistant director.
• Communicate with parents and school principal, and attend staff meetings.
