Qualifications

• Must have 1500 hours of verifiable childcare experience.
• Must meet Nebraska DHHS qualifications including health exam and felony statement.
• High school diploma or GED; CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of each child.
• Be familiar with state regulations and site procedures.
• Interact with parents and communicate about children.
• Record in-service hours and manage records.
• Supervise the site in the absence of the director.
• Attend staff meetings and take directions from the site director.
• Help serve snacks and assist with cleanup.
• Order food and milk; create the site menu.
• Prepare activities for after-school programs.
