Job summary

US Fitness in McLean, VA seeks a dedicated Kids' Club Associate to create a safe, clean, and fun space for our youngest members and their families. You will welcome families, lead age-appropriate activities, and help ensure smooth daily operations.

This role requires warm energy, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while following safety policies. A high school diploma or GED and childcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or at least 16 years old and a current high-school student in good standing)
• 6+ months of childcare/babysitting experience preferred
• CPR/AED (infant/child/adult) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet families and handle check-in, drop-off, and pick-up per club standards
• Engage kids with games, crafts, and activities; supervise free play
• Respond to each child's physical and emotional needs with care
• Keep the space spotless and safe; sanitize toys/equipment and follow safety procedures
• Label belongings, track parent info, and complete simple paperwork
• Communicate with parents; escalate questions/concerns to a manager as needed
• Let parents/manager know if a child needs attention beyond Kids' Club capacity
• Attend required meetings/trainings and support club programs and emergencies
• Work a flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends)
