Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser in NYC to support the kids' apparel team. You will provide administrative support to the Merchandising Department, enter product data in Excel with high accuracy, and organize catalogs and records.

You will help compile selling reports, manage samples, and assist with cross-functional projects to support seasonal assortments. The role emphasizes detail orientation, multi-tasking, and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Fashion Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fashion industry, including internships.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to build a long-term career in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and organizational support to the Merchandising Department to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Enter and maintain product-related data in Excel with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organize and update department records, files, and merchandise catalogs.
• Assist in compiling selling reports, sales recaps, and other performance analyses.
• Manage and track product samples to support seasonal assortments and line reviews.
• Support cross-functional projects and assist with special assignments as needed.
