Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Assistant in New York to support buying, e-commerce, and marketing teams. You will coordinate orders, process samples, and maintain precise records while communicating with fashion industry vendors.

The role emphasizes organization, data management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure merchandise moves smoothly from suppliers to our stores and offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update webpage as requested and coordinate with Advertising.
• Prepare purchase orders and complete order-entry spreadsheets.
• Communicate with POE team/vendor for each Divisional Merchandise Manager area.
• Coordinate sample management, tagging, storing, and organizing sample room.
• Run shipping reports and verify timely deliveries; provide administrative support to Buying.
