Job summary

Scott County Family Y is seeking a Child Watch Attendant in Davenport, Iowa. This role is critical for providing safe care to children of Y members, facilitating activities, and ensuring a nurturing environment. Candidates must have a High School diploma and preferably prior child care experience.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling during the week and Saturday mornings. Candidates must also obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days if not already certified, and will receive membership benefits and eligibility for a retirement program.

Qualifications

• Prior child care experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise children in activities.
• Maintain safe and clean Child Watch area.
• Inform parents of any issues regarding their children.
• Attend required training sessions.
